Wedding - Bobby and Lee, April 2011

Wedding by the seaside in a beautiful Georgian house on the Devon coast

Service:  Occasion Occasion was brought in to decorate the venue and help with the on the day coordination

Whilst the rest of the world was focusing on a certain wedding at Westminster Abbey the Occasion Occasion team was busy transforming Kennaway House for the wedding of Bobby and Lee the following day.

We set and dressed two main rooms – the upstairs ceremony room which overlooks the seafront and the intimate downstairs cellar bar.  Bobby and Lee had gone for a cool, white theme with touches of colour provided by elegant floral displays with a butterfly and heart motif.

On the day itself, we welcomed around 100 guests, directed them to the ceremony room and served champagne and canapés for the afternoon reception.  Whilst the reception was taking place in the formal gardens some of our team removed 100 chair covers and bows from the ceremony room chairs and re-sited them on the chairs in the cellar bar ready for dinner.  We coordinated the catering and waiting staff during dinner and cleared the venue at the end of the evening.
